Release Background

Far Yeast Brewing, based in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi, released Far Yeast Onegai Si Muscat on July 8. The beer started as a staff-created limited draft release at Far Yeast Tokyo in Gotanda and sold out quickly. Following that response, the brewery is now rolling it out in 350ml cans and 15L kegs nationwide.

Beer Style and Flavor

The beer is a Brut IPA with Muscat. According to the brewery, the concept leans into a refined, champagne-like impression. When poured, it shows lively bubbles and an elegant aroma reminiscent of freshly pressed muscat grapes. Bitterness is kept low, while the finish stays crisp and dry.

That combination makes it approachable not only for hop-driven beer drinkers, but also for people who enjoy sparkling wine and lighter, more aromatic drinks. The muscat character is front and center, yet the beer remains clearly structured as a beer rather than a fruit cocktail.
