Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate, will hold its annual spring event, "Spring Fest 2026." The venue is a special area on the brewery grounds, with the main event running for three days from May 3 to 5. In addition, May 2 will be held as an eve festival, and May 6 as an extension round.

Event Overview

The main event runs from 11:00 to 15:30, with doors opening at 10:00. Advance tickets are priced at 2,800 yen per day, and no same-day tickets will be sold. Ticket sales are limited to 450 per day, and tickets are available at the factory direct sales shop, company-owned stores, and on Peatix.

Drinking Style

No mugs will be provided at the venue, but guests may bring their own. Event mugs are also planned for sale, offering an option for those who want to enjoy the beer from their own container. The May 6 extension round will not be all-you-can-drink; instead, beer will be sold one glass at a time, and a food corner will also be available.

Access and Notes

There is no parking available, so visitors are expected to come by public transportation or shuttle bus. A paid shuttle bus is scheduled to run from in front of Morioka Station West Exit Marios, with a one-way fare of 250 yen to the venue. The food corner will feature dishes made with Iwate ingredients, with an eye toward pairing them with the beer. The event will go ahead in rainy weather and will only be canceled in severe weather, so it would be wise to check the day-of information as well.

True to Baeren Brewery, which has long been rooted in Morioka while developing its craft beer lineup, the event as a whole is carefully built around "drinking," "eating," and "gathering." It looks set to be a chance to enjoy Baeren draft beer and the venue-only atmosphere in springtime Morioka.
