Baeren Brewery Announces “Spring Fest 2026,” Opening May 3
Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture will hold its spring factory event, “Spring Fest 2026,” on its company grounds from May 3 to 5, 2026. The event is fully advance-ticketed; May 3 and 4 are sold out, and as of April 24, tickets for May 5 are being offered.
Baeren Brewery’s headquarters is in Kitayama, Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, and the brewery is known for brewing handmade beer using brewing equipment more than 100 years old that was relocated from Germany. With that background, Baeren’s annual spring event held at this time of year is the factory beer festival “Spring Fest 2026.”
The event will take place from May 3 to 5, 2026 at a special venue on the company grounds. Hours are 11:00 to 15:30, with doors opening at 10:00. Tickets are 2,800 yen per day and are available only in advance; there will be no same-day sales. As of April 24, May 3 and 4 are sold out, and advance tickets for May 5 are still being offered.
At the venue, guests can enjoy everything from Baeren’s standard beers to seasonal limited releases, and there will also be a food corner featuring dishes made with ingredients from Iwate. Beer mugs are not included, but bringing your own mug is allowed, and event mugs will also be sold. Containers brought in must be glasses or mugs of 1 liter or less; pitchers are not allowed. No parking is provided, so visitors are expected to use the paid shuttle bus running from the west exit of Morioka Station’s MariOtsu or other public transportation.
Spring Fest, which has become established as a spring factory event, is not only a chance to enjoy beer, but also an opportunity to experience the atmosphere close to Baeren’s manufacturing floor. A pre-event on May 2 and an extended event on May 6 are also planned, so if you are thinking of visiting, it is best to check ticket availability and transportation options in advance.
