Far Yeast Brewing to Host 'Miharashi Ennichi' Summer Event on August 16
Far Yeast Brewing will host “Miharashi Ennichi” at Miharashitei on August 16. The event is designed as a family-friendly summer gathering, with flowing somen and craft activities in the afternoon, followed by beer, spice curry, live music, and DJ sets in the evening.
Event Overview
Far Yeast Brewing will hold Miharashi Ennichi on Sunday, August 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Miharashitei. In the Instagram announcement, the brewery frames the event as a summer festival to enjoy at the end of the Obon holiday period.
The first half of the event is set up as kid time, featuring flowing somen and craft activities. Later in the evening, the program shifts into a more relaxed adult-friendly session with draft beer, spice curry, coffee, snacks, shaved ice, and other drinks. The music lineup includes DJ Minami Ryohei and a live performance by Watanabe Shinto, giving the event a food-and-music format rather than a simple tap takeover.
Far Yeast Brewing is based in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi, where its source brewery is located. According to the company’s official site, it moved its headquarters to the village in 2020 and has continued building ties with local businesses and producers. Its regional initiative, Brewed with YAMANASHI, reflects that approach by using Yamanashi-grown ingredients in limited releases.
Miharashi Ennichi fits that local, community-oriented style well. It is not just a beer event, but a day where visitors can enjoy craft beer alongside food, music, and hands-on activities in one place.
