Niigata-based Gangi Brewing has released information on a new addition to its limited series. According to the post, the previously announced "NEW CHAPTER / Wheat IPA w/Sichuan pepper" in 330ml bottle packaging was released at the same time as SREEP.

The official post also listed the beer's specifications.

- Pronunciation: New Chapter
- Series: Limited
- Batch: 1
- Style: Wheat IPA w/Sichuan pepper
- ABV: 5.0%
- IBU: 3.3
- EBC: 4.4
- Other ingredients: Sichuan pepper

The malt bill uses Golden Promise, Wheat Malt Light, Pilsner, and Carapils, while the hops are Nectaron, Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, and Motueka. The description says it features lychee and grapefruit aromas, nuances reminiscent of stone fruit and ginger, and a smooth, light mouthfeel.

This beer was planned as a third-anniversary commemorative brew for Beer Bar & Bar Lit. While it has the distinctive character you'd expect from a commemorative release, its ABV of 5.0% and IBU of 3.3 suggest a design focused on aroma and easy drinkability.

Meanwhile, the same post also noted that the lineup is temporarily sparse because bottle package stock is running low. The brewery says it is working on its regular beers and asks customers to wait for the assortment to recover.
