Repubrew's "CONIX BRUT IPA," from the brewery in Numazu, Shizuoka, won bronze at the 2026 World Beer Cup. Public information presents it as a Repubrew × CONIX collaboration, and it was recognized on the world stage.

According to the brewery's archive, this beer was a revival project released to mark Repubrew's 7th anniversary, and it was created through a collaboration with illustrator CONIX. It was originally brewed for CONIX's original beer glass project, and the brewery later reflected that it might have been 'the first Brut IPA in Japan.'

Brut IPA is a style known for its dry finish and reduced sweetness. According to Repubrew, this one is designed with aromas reminiscent of white grapes, mandarin, pine, and cedarwood, layered with strong carbonation and a clean bitterness, while its appearance is a clear straw color. It is said to be 6.5% ABV and 13 IBU, and pairings such as white fish meunière, marinated salmon, and a cheese platter are also suggested.

The fact that a project beer with a strong connection to its artwork delivered results in a global competition can be seen as news that shows Repubrew's dedication to craft.
