Beer House Hobbit Taps Egret Brewery’s Fresh-Hop IPA “Aga HOP”

The IPA is brewed with freshly harvested hops grown in Agho, Himeji, the same area where Egret Brewery’s brewery is located. According to the venue’s announcement, the beer highlights the aroma of fresh hops and a comfortable bitterness that remains on the finish. Its attractive wheat-gold color also makes it a fitting pour for the autumn season.
The day’s tap list also featured GOOD FORTUNE SAISON from Camado Brewery in Gifu, Silky Lager from Shimanami Brewery in Hiroshima, Moon Landing from Repubrew in Shizuoka, Session Citra White from Hirakata Beer in Osaka, and ESB from NORTH ISLAND BREWERY in Hokkaido. The selection offered a range of breweries and beer styles for guests to compare.
Beer House Hobbit also presented a food menu including a mushroom rice onigiri, a three-item vegetable side dish platter, Kyoto fig and prosciutto, vegetable-loaded nachos, bone-in chicken thigh karaage, and Japanese beef round steak. Japanese beef grilled shabu-shabu was listed as a limited special for the day.
