Yatsugatake Brewery, based in Hokuto, Yamanashi, posted information about the upcoming Fukushima Meat Festival 2026, scheduled for June 19-21 at Machinaka Square in Fukushima City. The festival’s official site describes it as a three-day event centered on dishes made with Fukushima beef, pork, and chicken.

In the exhibitor lineup, the Fukushima craft beer bar Tsugaru Beer is listed with a collaboration involving Miyashita Tentsu, also known as “102,” from Yatsugatake Touchdown. The menu includes 102 Date chicken karaage and Yatsugatake Touchdown craft beer, making the beer-and-fried-chicken pairing a clear part of the offering. Yatsugatake Brewery’s own post also points visitors to the event and mentions 102 karaage.

Yatsugatake Brewery operates from Kiyosato Highland at an elevation of 1,230 meters, using clear natural water from the Yatsugatake foothills. Since its founding in 1997, the brewery has focused on a malt-centric brewing philosophy that aims to bring out the depth and flavor of malt. The Fukushima event adds a regional crossover angle to that story, pairing a highland brewery’s beer with a festival built around local meat dishes.
