Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing to Open at the Hakata Station Front Beer Event from June 4
Hiroshima's Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing will participate in "Setouchi no Utage with CRAFT BEER," held at JR Hakata Station Plaza from June 4 to 7. Returning for a second straight year, the brewery plans to serve both its regular beers and limited-edition brews.
Hiroshima-based Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing (HNB) will take part in "Setouchi no Utage with CRAFT BEER" again this year, following last year. The venue is JR Hakata Station Plaza, and admission is free. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5; noon to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6; and noon to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7.
According to HNB's announcement, this time it plans to offer limited-edition beers in addition to its regular lineup. The idea appears to be to showcase the brewery's identity through its familiar brands while drawing attention with event-only pours. From an after-work drink to a weekend bar-hopping stop, it should be an easy and approachable booth to enjoy in front of Hakata Station.
Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing started in August 2020 as a microbrewery in Hiroshima, just east of Peace Memorial Park, near Motoyasu Bridge and immediately off Hondori. It operates a pub and charcoal-grill izakaya where guests can enjoy its original beers alongside charcoal-grilled dishes, steadily building its presence as a brewery rooted in the local community.
"Setouchi no Utage with CRAFT BEER" is an event that brings together craft beer and gourmet food from the Setouchi region in front of Hakata Station. HNB's participation creates an opportunity for visitors in Fukuoka to taste beer made by a Hiroshima brewery. It's worth keeping an eye on both the regular and limited offerings.
