MAHOWBREW has released a new beer, "Party -Ginger Gose- #2," created together with the [eighthundred] project, which connects music and alcoholic beverages. The brewery, based in Tsuboya, Naha City, Okinawa, is known for brewing beers that make use of local ingredients and local connections, and this release strongly reflects that style as well.

This batch is Batch Number 0073. The style is Imperial Gose w/ Ginger, Okinawan Cinnamon, Shell Ginger, Rum, with ABV 10.0% / IBU 10 / FG 1.030. The malts are Pilsner Malt, Flaked Wheat, and Sugar; the hops are Galaxy; the yeast is FERMO Brew Acid; and the adjuncts combine sea salt, ginger, Okinawan cinnamon (karaki), shell ginger, and rum.

What stands out is how carefully even the way the ingredients are added has been designed. Ginger is added during the boil, while sea salt, karaki, and shell ginger are added during the whirlpool stage. Then, after fermentation is complete, rum is blended in, creating a layered profile that goes beyond simple spiciness. In addition to Okinawan-grown ginger, it also uses karaki and shell ginger from Toguchi Farm in Nago City, along with the rum "Party -TROPICAL RUM-" from the second release of the [eighthundred] project and its base spirit, which further define this beer's character.

[eighthundred] is a project led by Kiyosaku Uezu of MONGOL800 and Akira Nakazato of OneSpirit, creating and delivering alcoholic beverages guided by Kiyosaku's music. For this "Party -GINGER GOSE-", Kiyosaku Uezu serves as producer, and Mizuho Shuzo Co., Ltd. and OneSpirit Co., Ltd. joined as production partners. Enjoyed alongside the song "PARTY," the beer, rum, and music seem to come together into a more vivid, unified world.
