Product details
According to the brewery’s official website, Great Match was created through a project with Isetan Shinjuku. It is brewed carefully with lager yeast to deliver a light, clean drinking profile. The brewery says the beer offers a gentle hop aroma and a pleasant finish that supports the flavor of the dish. The beer comes in 330 ml cans and is priced at JPY 990 including tax.
The pairing concept is broad. Grandline Brewing says Great Match is intended to work across Japanese, Western, Chinese, Italian, and Korean cuisine. The Instagram post also frames it with the line, “A great pairing begins with a great match,” describing it as a craft beer co-created by producers, brewers, and restaurants for enjoying food.
About the brewery

Its motto is “a new beer adventure begins,” and the brewery describes its work as following the needle of a compass toward a wide range of beer creations.
