Evolve Beer&Kitchen, a beer pub in Mukojima near Tokyo Skytree, posted its tap list for Wednesday, June 3. The bar was operating from 17:00 to 24:00 that day, and the lineup ranged from a jalapeño lager to fruit-forward wheat beer, bitters, hazy IPA, DDH West Coast IPA, barrel-aged stout, and a familiar lager finish.

The tap list

- Barebottle Brewing Company: Hella Jalapeño [Jalapeño Lager]
- Minoh Beer: Peach Weizen -Shimizu Hakuto ver.- [Fruits Weizen]
- Minoh Beer: Yuzu Howaito [White Ale]
- Minoh Beer: Nice Bitter [Bitter]
- Minoh Beer: Nice Bitter -Nitro ver.- [Bitter -Nitro ver.-]
- NAMACHAん BREWING: Tori aezu Nama! Brut Pale Ale ver. [Brut Pale Ale]
- Y.MARKET BREWING: Lupulin Nectar [Hazy IPA]
- Totopia Brewery: Glitchphobia [DDH West Coast IPA]
- Minoh Beer: Barrel Aged Imperial Stout [Barrel Aged Imperial Stout]
- SAPPORO: Black Label [Lager]

The most distinctive pour is Barebottle Brewing Company’s Hella Jalapeño. As a jalapeño lager, it should bring a clean lager profile with a little extra kick. Minoh Beer fills much of the board, with a fruit wheat beer, a yuzu white ale, two versions of Nice Bitter, and a barrel-aged imperial stout, giving the list a wide range from bright and refreshing to dark and layered.

Hop-forward drinkers have three clear choices: NAMACHAん BREWING’s Brut Pale Ale ver., Y.MARKET BREWING’s Lupulin Nectar, and Totopia Brewery’s Glitchphobia. Together they offer a useful spread of hop aroma and bitterness, making it easy to compare styles across the flight or order a sequence of beers through the night.

Food is an important part of the draw as well. The post highlights celery-leaf namul, grilled baby corn, shumai with duck, mitsuba, and spring onion, butter chicken curry croquettes, and warm chicken nanban soba. That mix of snacks, heavier plates, and noodle dishes suits a beer pub built around pairing food with rotating taps.

The post also notes upcoming plans: a Y.MARKET Brewing tap takeover on July 4-5 and Evolve’s 5th anniversary event on September 5-6. With both the current tap list and future events in play, the venue looks set to stay busy over the coming months.
