A seasonal release for Father’s Day

CAGHIYA Brewery, a small craft brewery in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki, is highlighting a Father’s Day seasonal beer called Lemon It Be. The brewery produces and sells its beers by hand, and has built a local following through its approachable, flavorful ales and its direct taproom business in Musashi-Nakahara.

Lemon, citrus hops, and a clean finish

Lemon It Be is a fruit pale ale designed around the fresh acidity of lemon juice. The brewery pairs that with the citrus notes of Cascade and Centennial hops, then adds Tettnanger and First Gold through first-wort hopping to build a gentle bitterness reminiscent of lemon tea. The result is meant to stay light on the palate, with restrained sweetness and a dry finish.

About the brewery

CAGHIYA Brewery operates from Kawasaki and also runs CAGHIYA TAP ROOM in Musashi-Nakahara, a brewery-adjacent beer bar serving fresh beer on site. The brewery’s approach is grounded in small-batch production and hands-on brewing, with a focus on ales that are easy to enjoy while still showing clear character.

A gift option for beer drinkers

The brewery says the beer is currently available as part of a Father’s Day limited set through its online shop. With its balance of hop aroma and lemon brightness, Lemon It Be works both as a gift for dedicated beer drinkers and as an accessible option for people who are just starting to explore craft beer.
