CAGHIYA Brewery, a craft brewery in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki, will launch its first canned product, HELLO KAWASAKI, this fall. Sales will be limited to Kawasaki City, and the brewery says the beer will be priced so it can be enjoyed as part of everyday life.

The brewery handcrafts and sells original beers in Kawasaki, and its official site says it aims to create connections between people through beer. In addition to its brewery-side venue in Musashi-Nakahara, the company also operates two branded taproom-style locations in Musashi-Kosugi and Jiyugaoka, building a locally rooted craft beer presence.

HELLO KAWASAKI marks a new format for the brewery. Until now, CAGHIYA’s beers have been enjoyed mainly on draft or in bottles, so the move to cans adds portability and better shelf stability. The Kawasaki-only rollout also gives the product a clear local identity.

For a brewery that has focused on small-batch, hands-on production, this release feels like a practical next step rather than a flashy one. The message is straightforward: craft beer does not have to be reserved for special occasions. More details will be announced later.
