Ash Head Brewery to Hold UK & Ireland Cultural Event in Late March
Ash Head Brewery in Kagoshima announced "British & Irish day," an event themed around pub culture in the UK and Ireland. The venue will be "TOORINIWA," five minutes on foot from the brewery, and limited-edition food and collaboration drinks are also planned.
Ash Head Brewery (Kagoshima) announced details for its event "~British & Irish day~" in an Instagram post. The venue is "TOORINIWA," a 5-minute walk from ASH HEAD BEER LAB.
According to the information shared in the post, the lineup for the day is planned to include:
- ASH craft beer
- Event-exclusive food
- Matcha beer in collaboration with "Ocha to Oyatsu Koh"
- Limited drinks such as Irish coffee
This project is being held in connection with Ireland’s traditional celebration, St. Patrick’s Day (3/17), with the aim of letting people enjoy the beer cultures of different countries. The post also says that visitors who come wearing green items will receive one free beer (small items such as hats, accessories, and bags are also acceptable).
In addition to craft beer, the event combines food and tea elements, making it more than just a simple tap event. Based in Kagoshima, Ash Head Brewery is drawing attention for its effort to localize pub culture rooted in the UK and Ireland by working together with the local venue "TOORINIWA."
For those who want to compare beers, as well as those who want to experience the atmosphere of St. Patrick’s Day, it looks like a day worth visiting.
