Yokohama-based brewery Libushi has announced a new beer called Haze Solo. The beer is a Hazy IPA at 7.0% ABV, brewed with Dolcita as the main hop, supported by Citra and Deep Cut Cascade CGX NUVO.

According to the post, Dolcita is a newly released hop that first appeared in August 2025. Libushi describes it as a hop that has been watched closely as a potential next-generation option, and says its use here was meant to bring a different expression to the Hazy IPA format.

The brewery says the hop aroma evolved during fermentation, moving from earthy and green notes toward banana, sweet candy, and cake-like impressions. The finished beer is described as carrying gentle tropical and citrus notes, with a juicy, fruity profile.

Libushi, which operates in the Bashamichi area of Yokohama, has built a reputation for working with distinctive ingredients and hop-forward beers. In the post, the brewery says the beer has been released for outside sales and is already pouring in-house.
