At HOP TAP SHOP in Takaoka, Toyama, new mead service has begun. According to the post, the two Antelope labels that arrived this time are being offered. Because of the impact of a project to switch the ingredient honey to domestic production, draft mead will be out of stock for a while, so for the time being it will be served from bottles. In addition to bottle sales, the shop also offers it by the glass. Being able to try it one glass at a time is a welcome option for people who primarily drink beer.

The tap list that day was broad, ranging from crisp pilsners to IPA and stout.

- BREWMIN' 'Monster's P'
- WCB 'McKenzie Pils'
- Inkhorn Brewing × Kyoto Brewing 'Jihishinchou'
- KAKEGAWA Farm 'This is White'
- OUR BREWING 'Dino King'
- Minoh Beer 'Honey Saison'
- Nomcraft × MAHOWBREW 'Whole New World'
- Ise Kadoya Beer × VERTERE 'Another Cut'
- Johana Beer 'Earl Grey'
- Yorocco Beer 'Cultivator'
- Bushi Bashamichi 'Before the Sun'

The two meads were Antelope 'What Churchill Said' and Antelope 'Wilt'. It would be easy to alternate beer and mead between pours, or to start with mead and move on to hop-forward styles.

HOP TAP SHOP is a Takaoka spot where you can follow craft beer from across Japan while taking your time with food pairings.
