Event Overview
Kamakura Beer will host the first "KANAGAWA BEER HALL" on Friday, July 17, 2026. The venue is Kamakura Umimachi Table, the brewery's directly operated taproom on the 10th floor of Sogo Yokohama. Six breweries from Kanagawa Prefecture will gather, offering more than 12 craft beers for guests to sample.
The event runs from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in a standing, walk-in-friendly format, with a capacity of 120 guests and advance reservations available. Admission is priced at 2,500 yen. Advance reservations include four dedicated coins, while same-day tickets include three; extra coins will be sold for 700 yen each. Beer will be served in 9-ounce glasses, or about 270 ml.
The participating breweries are Kamakura Beer, Yokohama Beer, Yokosuka Beer, Hakone Beer, Miura Brewery, and Brewstars Yacht Club in Hayama. On-site programming will include a rock-paper-scissors contest with brewery merchandise as prizes, plus stage performances by Takahiro Kusaka, Hiro Shibata, and the Kamakura Women's University hula dance club.
Kamakura Beer was founded in 1997 as Kamakura's first craft beer brewery. Its lineup includes core beers such as "Tsuki," "Hoshi," and "Hana," along with region-focused releases like "ROUTE134BEER." This new event aims to create a place in central Yokohama where people can enjoy Kanagawa craft beer across brewery lines while meeting the brewers behind the beers. For drinkers interested in regional brewing culture, it offers a compact look at the diversity now taking root across the prefecture.
