Kamakura Beer is participating in the special collaboration product “Kamakura British Heritage Set,” created with Kamakura Ham Tomioka Shokai and the British Antique Museum BAM Kamakura. Only 500 sets are available, and the product is sold exclusively through Kamakura Ham Tomioka Shokai’s online store.

Produced by BAM Kamakura, the set draws on the atmosphere of Baker Street 221B and the world of Sherlock Holmes. It brings together traditionally cured ham, showcasing the skills of Kamakura Ham’s artisans, and craft beer rooted in the culture of British pubs. The result is a food-and-beer pairing that connects British heritage with Kamakura’s local craftsmanship.

Founded in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Kamakura Beer received its beer manufacturing license in 1998. The brewery produces a range of locally themed beers, including Tsuki Altbier, Hoshi Pale Ale, and Hana Brown Ale. Its official website also highlights an SH Ale, a brown ale developed in collaboration with BAM Kamakura and inspired by the Victorian era and the world of Sherlock Holmes.

Part of the sales proceeds will be donated to landscape preservation activities that protect Kamakura’s natural environment and scenery. The collaboration offers beer and food lovers a way to explore the city’s cultural connections while supporting efforts to preserve its character. Availability should be checked through the Kamakura Ham Tomioka Shokai online store, as the set is limited to 500 units.
