Manchin Brewing's new beer, "WORKING MANS TRUE FRIEND," was released on April 12 at the mixed-use complex "MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO" in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. In an Instagram post, it was introduced as a dry and crispy dry-hopped lager, and the post said it had been connected to the tap.

MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO is a base in Akeno-cho, Hokuto City, about two hours from Tokyo via the Chuo Expressway. According to the official website, the renovated former factory houses "Manchin Brewing," "Manchin Saketen," and "Manchin Pao" side by side. In addition to its brewery production facilities, it also includes a bottle shop and taproom, as well as a beer diner, and its location overlooking the Southern Alps and the Yatsugatake Mountains is another defining feature.

In this post, the brewery also highlighted the seasonal appeal of enjoying draft beer while looking out at the majestic, snow-covered Southern Alps, and announced the sale of original pint glasses. The prices were large glass 1,500 yen, small glass 500 yen, and growler 7,000 yen. From tasting the new beer on site to taking it home, it is a Manchin Brewing-style offering that completes the experience.

Enjoying the new lager on the spot in a taproom integrated with Hokuto's natural surroundings. This release from Manchin Brewing is one to watch as a beer meant to be enjoyed together with that experience.
