Danchi Kitchen Tajima to Sell Club-Conceived Original Beer “Danchi Amber UNAWA” at the May 30 Market
At Danchi Kitchen Tajima in Sakura Ward, Saitama City, the original beer “Danchi Amber UNAWA,” created by club members from recipe to label, has been completed. It will be sold at the May 30 market, offering a distinctive flavor built on eel broth layered with sauce and sansho pepper.
An Original Beer Brewed On-Site Heads to the Market
Danchi Kitchen Tajima, located in Tajima, Sakura Ward, Saitama City, is a mixed-use facility equipped with a shared kitchen, cafe, and brewery. One of its defining features is that visitors can enjoy craft beer brewed on the premises at the cafe, and it operates as a base that connects eating and making.
What has now been completed is the original beer “Danchi Amber UNAWA,” for which club members decided everything from the recipe to the label. It is scheduled to go on sale at the May 30 market, and can be seen as a beer that directly reflects Danchi Kitchen Tajima Brewery’s efforts to create products rooted in the local community.
Its flavor is characterized by a base of broth made from eel, a specialty of the Urawa area, with sauce and sansho added. The post介绍ed it as having a surprisingly refreshing drinking impression, with the aftertaste of a sauce reminiscent of mitarashi and the aroma of sansho layered together. Using Japanese ingredients while also keeping drinkability in mind, the composition stands out.
Another feature is that when purchasing the bottle, customers can choose from six original labels made mainly by local children. There will also be tap pours available from the server, along with the chance to compare it with a beer made using the market theme of “tea.” This is a new product that feels distinctly like Danchi Kitchen Tajima, born from overlapping local ingredients, local people, and local spaces.
