Danchi Kitchen Tajima in Sakura Ward, Saitama City, will host the 42nd Danchi Kitchen Marche on Saturday, September 26, 2026. With a focus on the seasonal flavors of Saitama, the event will offer visitors a chance to discover local ingredients and enjoy food prepared by members of the community.

The marche typically brings together farmers selling Saitama-grown vegetables, as well as share-kitchen members offering breads, sweets, prepared foods, and other products. More than a shopping event, it creates opportunities to speak with producers and makers while learning more about the region’s food culture.

For beer enthusiasts, the highlight is Danchi Kitchen Brewery, located within the same facility. The microbrewery began brewing in summer 2022 and produces a variety of distinctive craft beers in small batches. It operates brewing equipment capable of producing around 200 liters at a time, along with a smaller 40-liter system used for experimental beers and brewing workshops.

Visitors can also enjoy craft beer at the facility’s café, pairing the locally brewed drinks with seasonal foods from the marche. Tasting beer alongside fresh Saitama ingredients offers a relaxed, distinctly local alternative to a large beer festival.

Danchi Kitchen Tajima is located in Tajima 6-chome, Sakura Ward, Saitama City, within walking distance of Nishi-Urawa Station. Combining a café, brewery, share kitchens, and community events, the facility offers a setting where visitors can eat, create, and learn while experiencing the changing seasons of Saitama.
