Danchi Kitchen Tajima, located in Sakura Ward, Saitama City, announced that six of its seven entries were awarded at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2026. The facility combines a cafe, a shared kitchen, and a brewery, and has been developing a food-focused community space under the concept of bringing the taste of home into the taste of the town.

The awarded beers were four silver medals and two bronze medals.

- Silver: Sakurasou Hime
- Silver: Danchi no Amber
- Silver: Coffee Schwarz
- Silver: O-Grisette Ver.3.0
- Bronze: Sakurasou Craft
- Bronze: Danchi Bitter

The lineup spans field beer, brown ale, coffee beer, specialty saison, pale ale, and extra special bitter. That range shows how broadly the brewery’s work was recognized, from beers with a strong local identity to more classic British-influenced styles. Two beers carrying the Sakurasou name also earned medals, alongside darker, more characterful beers such as Coffee Schwarz and Danchi Bitter.

Danchi Kitchen Tajima has built its brewery around everyday food culture and close contact with drinkers. This result suggests that its approach is not only distinctive as a community project, but also strong in the glass. It will be worth watching how these award-winning beers continue to be served and whether they become staples at the brewery itself.
