At the beer pub “Entrance to Beer NOVICE,” a 3-minute walk from Kawagoe Station and a 5-minute walk from Hon-Kawagoe Station, Kazo Beer’s “Pale Ale” has been newly tapped. According to the post, the style is pale ale and the ABV is 5.5%. It is described as a slightly deeper amber-colored beer that brings out malt richness and hop aroma while keeping bitterness restrained.

With this tap update, the venue announced today’s tap lineup, consisting of the following five beers:

- Iroha (COEDO BREWERY)
- Saison 1st (Nutoru Brewing)
- Koshigaya Burgundy Ale (NOMENDO Brew Stand)
- Coffee Schwarz (Danchi Kitchen Tajima)
- Pale Ale (Kazo Beer)

Looking at the lineup, it offers a wide range of flavors, from a light, easy-drinking saison to a colored ale with malty depth, and even a schwarzbier with the roasted character you’d expect from coffee. It is an especially appealing set for anyone planning a tasting lineup, since you can try multiple directions in one stop. The fact that local Saitama breweries and nearby labels are included also makes this a noteworthy stop for craft beer fans following the Kawagoe area.

The shop is located on the 2nd floor-B of the PONO Building, 27-3 Wakitamachi, Kawagoe City, Saitama. Hours are 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM on weekdays, and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM on weekends and holidays. It is a perfect place not only for an evening drink, but also for taking your time moving through the taps from early on a weekend.
