Nagi no Oto Brewing announces a re-brew of limited SHIRANUI 2026 and a Miyazaki event
Nagi no Oto Brewing, based in Kushima, Miyazaki, announced a re-brew of its limited SHIRANUI 2026, made with fully ripened local shiranui citrus. The brewery also shared details of a collaboration event in Miyazaki City on May 2.
Nagi no Oto Brewing is a small brewery operating on the site of a former nursery school in Ohira, Kushima City, Miyazaki. Led by Takashi Tamura, the brewery is known for handcrafted beer making, including bottle-conditioned styles, and for building its lineup around local ingredients.
In its latest post, the brewery announced that it will re-brew the limited SHIRANUI 2026. The beer uses fully ripened shiranui citrus from the Toi area of Kushima. According to the brewery’s description, it is a restrained, orange-wine-like beer that pairs well with fish carpaccio and summer vegetable salads. For a small brewery, a re-brew is a practical response to demand and limited batch size.
The post also introduced a one-night collaboration event on May 2, 2026, at HAROW Event Space Hiroshimadori in Miyazaki City. The lineup brings together chef Aya Yamaguchi of AYA's Table, ceramic artist Tomohisa Miyauchi of Yohaku, and brewer Takashi Tamura. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and includes a seasonal full course, two craft beers, and a 5,500 yen participation fee. It is a neatly framed example of how Nagi no Oto Brewing connects local produce, food, and craft.
