Two limited packs centered on a new Hazy IPA

Beer Cafe VERTERE in Okutama, Tokyo announced a limited release starting at 12:00 on Aug. 28. The headline beer is Osmunda, a new Hazy IPA at 6.5% ABV and 20 IBU. According to the post, it carries grapefruit, passion fruit, and mango aromas, a faint creamy nuance, soft sweetness that supports the fruit character, and a smooth mouthfeel from oats and wheat.

The release comes in two formats. The four-bottle Hazy Pack includes Osmunda, a new batch of Efulensia IPA, Fabiana Hazy Pale Ale, and Casimiroa NEIPA. The Special Pack is a 12-bottle set built from eight 500 ml cans and four 350 ml cans. It includes Anemone American Pale Ale, Calamintha Italian Pilsner, Deserti Session IPA, Duranta NZ Pilsner, Eugenia NZIPA, Melilotus Belgian Pale Ale, Palmeri DIPA, Ravenia American IPA, plus Beta Ⅲ Beets Sour Saison, Coffea Coffee Stout, Nemophila West Coast Pilsner, and Pieris Lime Sour Saison w/Mint. Two original sticker designs are also included.

VERTERE’s lineup often reflects its Okutama roots, and this release is no exception: hop-forward beers sit alongside a wide range of styles, making the packs useful for side-by-side tasting.
