Enjoy a Day of Draft Beer and a Spring Dish in Gotanda

The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant, located underground in Nishi-Gotanda, Tokyo, has released its tap list for Saturday, April 11. In a post introducing the day's draft craft beer and cider, a total of 13 selections were listed, from familiar imported brands to labels from domestic breweries.

The lineup offers a broad tasting range, with familiar names such as Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, and Magners Cider, alongside Sanktgallen's "YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale," Ikari Brewing's "Irish Red" and "Scottish Brown Real Ale," and COEDO Brewery's "Marihana." It also includes Sure Shot's "Shh. . It's Just Magic," Sheepy's "200CIDER," Amber'd's "Pale Be Back," Hansharo Beer Lab's "Osake Man IPA," Teenage Brewing's "SHOHEI Zen IPA," and Humans Beer’s "SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER," making it a lineup craft beer fans won't want to miss.

On the food side, spring-inspired items include tempura-fried bamboo shoots and hotaru ika ajillo. Other dishes include fresh oysters, steak and kidney pie, katsuo tataki salad, rigatoni with gorgonzola sauce, and stewed pork offal curry, giving plenty of options that pair well with beer. In the calm setting of an underground beer pub, the appeal of the place is that you can build your meal while checking each draft one by one.

The post also mentions broadcasts of the Osaka derby, the U20 Women's Asian Cup, boxing, and the English Premier League, making it a handy spot for days when you want to enjoy live sports and beer at the same time. It also accepts reservations for farewell and welcome parties as well as private bookings, so it is a place worth keeping in mind in Gotanda when you want a solid drink.
