The Grafton in Gotanda Taps O’Hara’s and Nobody Brewing IPAs
The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant in Gotanda, Tokyo, has highlighted two IPA options for match day: O’Hara’s 51st State IPA from Ireland and Rough Trade IPA from Saitama’s Nobody Brewing.
The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant in Gotanda is featuring two IPAs for its match-day tap list.
The first is 51st State IPA from O’Hara’s, the beer brand of Ireland’s Carlow Brewing Company. Inspired by American IPA, it is known for expressive grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot and peach-like notes, supported by a noticeable but balanced bitterness. Its hop-forward profile makes it a natural choice alongside pub food and live sports.
The second beer is Rough Trade IPA from Nobody Brewing, a brand by Teenage Brewing in Saitama. This 4.5% Session IPA is built around a light body and dry finish, with refreshing grapefruit and lemon-like hop aromas. It is an easy-drinking option for a long match, conversation and a second round. The beer’s connection to Rough Trade’s music culture also gives it appeal beyond the usual IPA audience.
Located in the basement of a building in Nishi-Gotanda, The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant is a beer pub where guests can enjoy a broad selection of beers in a casual sports-watching atmosphere. These two taps offer a clear contrast: the fruit-forward intensity of 51st State IPA and the lighter, more sessionable character of Rough Trade IPA.
