Gotanda's The Grafton Adds MARS and Marihana in Its March 23 Tap Update
The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant in Tokyo's Gotanda district has published its tap list for Monday, March 23. Along with the return of Ikari Brewing's Scottish Brown Real Ale, the lineup features a diverse range of draught beers from Japan and abroad, including Uchu Brewing's "MARS" and COEDO Brewery's "Marihana."
The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant (Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa Ward) announced its latest tap information on Instagram as of 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23. With an Irish-pub atmosphere at its core, the lineup is typical of the venue: a balanced mix of house staples and guest taps.
The main topic in this post is the return of Ikari Brewing's Scottish Brown Real Ale. Also on tap is the brewery's Irish Red, making this a lineup that will please anyone who wants to enjoy malt depth.
The guest taps include Kanpai! Brewing's Jorurizaka Helles, Uchu Brewing's MARS, Hansharo Beer's New World Kolsh, and Kakegawa Beer's Dank Hop IPA, among others, with each offering a clearly different drinking profile. Also on the list are COEDO Brewery's Marihana, Sankt Gallen's YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale, and, among the British-style selections, Sureshot's Shh.. It's Just Magic and Black Sheep Brewery's MILK STOUT, giving you options from crisp and easy-drinking to roasty.
In addition, the day also features special foods such as fresh oysters (Ofunato, Iwate) and fisherman's pie. It looks like it will be a day to slowly enjoy draught-beer comparisons and food pairings in the calm underground pub space.
Beer fans in Gotanda who choose a place based on what's on tap today will want to check the day's tap update before heading out.
