A triple collaboration born from a JRA Baji Koen event

According to an announcement on the Smoke Beer Factory official website, the new release was conceived as a triple collaboration between JRA Baji Koen × Yuya Boys × NAMACHAん Brewing. The label is "🍋 Lemon Hop," the style is Fruit Beer, and the alcohol content is listed at 5.0%.

Built on a Helles base, it uses Lemon Drop hops and domestically produced lemon juice. By also adding salt, it achieves a bright, juicy acidity and a subtle saltiness, resulting in a light, easy-drinking profile.

Looking at this beer in the brewery's context

Namachaん Brewing is a brewery operated within the Smoke Beer Factory group in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. On the official site, it is introduced as a brewpub based in the Otsuka location, continuing to produce house-brewed beers using smoked malt while developing each location's own character.

The site's news archive also shows ongoing collaborations with outside partners such as transportation operators, commercial facilities, and cultural events. This JRA Baji Koen project sits squarely within that collaboration-driven approach, but it is especially interesting for how it was tailored to the occasion of a commemorative event at Baji Koen, with lemon and salt used to evoke seasonality and suit an outdoor gathering.
