Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Shimomeguro, Meguro Ward, updated its tap list for Wednesday, April 22. True to the shop’s focus on domestic craft beer, domestic wine, and domestic spirits, the day’s lineup is also centered on breweries from across Japan.

On tap that day were Twin Peaks Mountain Brewing’s "Hakase no Weizen," Kankiku Brewery’s "Balmy Pilsner," Noboru Brewing’s "Warau," and Ise Kadoya Beer’s "Neko ni Hiki." Also listed were Minoh Beer’s "Nice na Bitter," Johana Beer’s "Golden Spark," Nanshinshu Beer’s "Oguna Biscuit Hop," and canned beer from Udon Brewing, "Yuzu Oroshi Udon Hazy IPA."

In the post, yellow marks indicate low stock and red marks indicate very limited stock, and several labels are already in the final stretch. Among them, "Yuzu Oroshi Udon Hazy IPA" is a beer whose label design was handled by Mr. Ishizuka, who joined the staff this year, and its remaining stock is down to just one can.

THE DODO HOUSE is a beer pub that offers seven taps of domestic draft craft beer, along with Japanese-Western fusion creative cuisine. Known in the Meguro Station area as a place where guests can take their time enjoying beer with a meal, it also has the appeal of letting visitors decide what style they want to drink before heading over on days when the lineup is clearly posted like this one. From a brisk Weizen to a bitter-forward ale and hop-driven IPA styles, it looks like a day well suited to comparison tasting with a wide range of options.
