Derailleur Brew Works, based in Nishinari, Osaka, has announced its participation in UMEKITA GOOD THINGS through an Instagram post titled “We’ll be exhibiting at UMEKITA GOOD THINGS!” The announcement confirms the brewery’s appearance, but does not yet provide details such as the event date, booth location, or beers that will be served.

The brewery was established to recreate the recipe for Nishinari Riot Ale, with a focus on Nishinari, an Osaka neighborhood known for its long-standing drinking culture. Its name, “Derailleur,” refers to someone who steps away from the expected path, reflecting the brewery’s approach of creating beer without being bound by convention.

Its official lineup includes Nishinari Riot Ale, an American Pale Ale, as well as Citrus Sour Ale, Hazy IPA, German Pilsner, Mix Juiced IPA, West Coast IPA, and Session IPA. The range also includes beers featuring ingredients such as yuzu peel, fruit concentrates, lactose, and white peach juice, alongside more classic hop-forward styles.

The UMEKITA GOOD THINGS appearance could introduce the brewery’s Nishinari-born beer culture to visitors in the Umekita area. Further announcements regarding the schedule and available beers will be worth watching.
