Baeren Brewery is based in Kitayama, Morioka, Iwate, and continues to brew handmade beers while respecting traditional European beer culture. The brewery is also known for using century-old German brewing equipment and for building products rooted in the local community.

In its July 17 Instagram post, Baeren shared details for the following day’s service at Taimokucho Yoiichi. Even with rain in the forecast, the team said it would keep serving as usual. The draft beer lineup for inside included Schwarz, Tsunagu Beer, Ihatov no Umi, and Kabosu Radler Dry. Outside, the brewery planned to pour Classic, Alt, and Lemon Radler.

Opening hours were also listed: inside from 12:00 to 19:00, with last orders at 18:30, and outside from 15:10 to 18:30. The post also mentioned a black-vinegar chilled noodle dish prepared by the Beer Base Baeren Machiya chef, adding a seasonal food pairing to the market-day lineup.

The most notable part of the post is the new Shiso Lemon Radler, which Baeren said it would keep chilled outside. A radler is a beer-and-lemonade style that originated in southern Germany, and Baeren already offers Lemon Radler in its lineup. The new shiso version fits naturally into that style while adding a local summer twist for visitors to enjoy at the market.
