Baeren Brewery, based in Morioka, Iwate, has launched its Autumn Beer Club 2026. This year marks the 20th edition of the long-running program, which began in 2007 and coincides with Baeren's 23rd anniversary. The 2026 theme, "Colors of the German Flag," is built around the colors gold, red, and black.

The lineup consists of club-exclusive beers. Baeren says the selection was curated by staff who took part in a Germany training trip, with a focus on traditional German beer styles. The result is a three-month course that highlights both classic brewing and limited one-off creations.

Baeren has built its reputation on German-inspired brewing from its base in Morioka. That background is reflected here in the mix of filtered and unfiltered versions, a smoked specialty, and a beer made with Iwate-grown hops. It is a restrained but thoughtfully constructed seasonal release for drinkers who want to compare styles across the autumn months.
