Baeren Brewery Releases Its 2026 Autumn Beer Subscription Set
Baeren Brewery is now offering its 2026 Autumn Beer Subscription Set. Every beer in this year’s selection was brewed at the brewery’s Kitayama facility, highlighting the malt richness, roundness, and balanced character associated with its traditional brewing equipment.
Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate, has begun sales of its 2026 Autumn Beer Subscription Set. In an official Instagram post, the brewery explains how beers made at its Kitayama and Shizukuishi facilities can differ in character, before introducing this year’s selection.
According to Baeren, beers brewed at the Kitayama facility tend to show more malt-derived richness and roundness. Even when distinctive hops or additional ingredients are used, the flavors are generally brought together in a balanced way. Beers made at the Shizukuishi facility, by contrast, tend to emphasize hop and yeast aromas, resulting in a fruitier and cleaner profile.
All of the beers in the 2026 subscription set were brewed at Kitayama. The selection is therefore designed to showcase the brewery’s traditional equipment and its characteristic “Kitayama” profile, with a generous, rounded palate built around malt depth. Tasting the beers side by side should offer an opportunity to explore how brewing facilities can influence flavor.
Baeren also points to Classic and N Classic, which are brewed at Kitayama and Shizukuishi respectively using the same recipe. The pair provides a particularly clear way to compare the character of each facility.
Applications for the autumn set are scheduled to remain open until the end of September, or until the planned quantity is reached. Orders are available through Baeren’s official webshop and its Rakuten marketplace store. For beer enthusiasts, the set offers a seasonal way to experience the brewery’s approach to traditional brewing and comparative tasting.
