Baeren Brewery launches its 2026 autumn subscription, Colors of the German Flag
Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate, launched its 2026 autumn subscription, Colors of the German Flag, on August 1. Now in its 20th edition, the series sends limited beers over three consecutive months, inspired by the black, red, and gold of the German flag.
The 20th autumn subscription
Baeren Brewery launched its 2026 autumn hanpukai, Colors of the German Flag, on August 1 through its official online shop. An early-bird 10% discount is available through the end of August. The subscription series began in 2007 and reaches its 20th edition this year.
A theme built around black, red, and gold
This year’s theme is based on the colors of the German flag: black, red, and gold. The beers are scheduled to be delivered in three installments in late September, late October, and late November. According to the brewery, these are limited beers available only through this hanpukai, with the exact lineup to be announced separately.
A fit for Baeren’s style
Baeren is a Morioka-based brewery known for brewing with a classic German influence and for using a brewing kettle that is more than 100 years old. Alongside its core lineup, the brewery produces many limited releases each year, so the hanpukai is a good way to see that range in one place. With Colors of the German Flag, Baeren is pairing its traditional brewing identity with a clear, visually driven concept for the fall season.
