Y.MARKET BREWING Completely Overhauls Its E-Commerce Site, Launches Two New 'Overdrive' Beers at the Same Time
Nagoya-based Y.MARKET BREWING will fully relaunch its official online shop at 3:00 p.m. on April 23, 2026. At the same time, the brand will release two new beers, "Overdrive" IPA and Pale Ale, and run a commemorative campaign.
Y.MARKET BREWING fully relaunched its official e-commerce site on April 23, 2026. With this refresh, the online shop is being positioned not just as a place to sell products, but as a brand site that also conveys the brewers' way of thinking and the background behind the brewing.
The new releases that arrived at the same time are two beers themed around the guitar effect pedal "Overdrive." The IPA is characterized by citrus aromas reminiscent of grapefruit and orange, subtle tropical nuances, firm bitterness, and a dry finish. The Pale Ale, meanwhile, expresses the same concept in a softer way, with a light mouthfeel, clean bitterness, and a balanced malt sweetness.
Although the recipe base is shared, it is also interesting that the two beers are differentiated by adjusting the hop amount, timing of additions, and malt ratio. By tasting them side by side, drinkers can enjoy not only the flavors but also the differences in design.
As part of the relaunch celebration, limited assortments combining "Overdrive" with the brand's regular lineup, as well as citrus fruit beer sets, are also being offered. A limited-time free shipping campaign is also being run, reflecting a focus on both at-home drinking demand and gift-giving demand.
Y.MARKET BREWING is a Nagoya-based brewery that has been releasing distinctive, adventurous beers. It began brewing in 2014 as Nagoya City's first craft beer brewery, and with this e-commerce refresh as well, it aims to communicate that spirit more clearly online.
