Shinjuku local beer bar Marumugi to serve five beers including COEDO's "Marihana" on May 10
The beer pub and local beer bar Marumugi in Arakicho, Shinjuku Ward, has announced its tap lineup for May 10. Five beers will be available, including COEDO's "Marihana" and Y.MARKET BREWING's "Over Drive IPA," at large JPY 1,200+α and small JPY 900+α.
The beer pub Marumugi, located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, has announced its beer menu for May 10. Base prices are large JPY 1,200+α and small JPY 900+α. Five bottles with distinct personalities are lined up, ranging from citrus aromas and sharp bitterness to toasty notes and even coffee-like character.

Rather than pairing with food, Marumugi's selection is the kind that makes you want to first compare the differences in each glass. From a light session IPA to a bitterness-forward IPA and a golden ale with malty depth, there is fun to be had tasting them side by side in the same night.
The shop also notes that, starting December 5, 2024, Tuesdays and public holidays are regular closing days. It looks set to be a quiet night for enjoying the day-to-day personalities of beers on the second floor in Arakicho.
