The November 1 tap list

Located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Marumugi is a beer pub specializing in craft beer from breweries across Japan. Its November 1 lineup features five beers. Large pours are priced at ¥1,300, while small pours are ¥1,000.

From Nagano, Minami-Shinshu Beer’s 7.0% MOONLIGHT IPA is described as an IPA with floral aromas and a lingering finish. Its aromatic profile and higher strength make it a fitting choice for a leisurely autumn evening.

Mojiko Retro Beer from Fukuoka contributes the 6.0% Oktoberfest Bier. Long maturation brings depth to this seasonal lager, making it a slower, richer option than a purely light and crisp lager.

Mie’s Shima Brewing offers Brown IPA, at 6.5% ABV. Toasted malt and expressive hops combine in a beer with notable depth, placing equal emphasis on malt character and hop aroma.

Also from Mie, Ise Kadoya Beer’s 5.0% Classic Pale Ale is presented as a fragrant, full-flavored pale ale. Its balanced profile should work well alongside food or as an approachable choice for an extended session.

The fruit-forward option is Minoh Beer’s Domestic Peach Weizen – Kawanakajima White Peach Version, brewed in Osaka at 5.0% ABV. The beer is positioned as a chance to enjoy the final peaches of the year, with an aromatic peach character.

Together, the list covers mature lager flavors, hop-led beers, malt-driven complexity, and seasonal fruit character. For beer drinkers spending an autumn evening in Arakicho, Marumugi offers a compact but varied selection for tasting across styles. The pub is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, and its current standard pricing is ¥1,300 for a large pour and ¥1,000 for a small pour.
