Mangosteen Liquors to Join Sancha Kuso Shotengai in Sangenjaya
Mangosteen Liquors from MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO in Hokuto, Yamanashi, will take part in Sancha Kuso Shotengai in Sangenjaya on July 4-5. The booth will feature Mangosteen Brewing Lab's craft beer alongside mezcal and other carefully selected drinks.
What will be there
Sancha Kuso Shotengai is a multi-day event in Sangenjaya, held on July 4 and 5 at Sancha Fureai Plaza. In the exhibitor announcement, Mangosteen Liquors from the MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO complex in Akeno, Hokuto City, Yamanashi, was introduced as one of the participating vendors.
Mangosteen Liquors is designed as a hybrid space that combines a bottle shop, bar, deli, and lounge. Its lineup includes Mangosteen Brewing Lab's craft beer, house-imported mezcal, and a wide range of spirits and wines such as gin, absinthe, rum, whiskey, and natural wine. The selection is built around the store's "rare and distinctive" concept.
Mangosteen Brewing Lab began brewing in September 2022. According to the brewery's introduction, it uses spring water from Mt. Kayagatake and local fruits and vegetables from Hokuto, and positions itself as a community-rooted brewery with a strong connection to music and culture.
MANGOSTEEN HOKUTO itself is a renovated former factory complex that brings together the brewery, the bottle shop, and a food counter in one place. The Sangenjaya appearance offers Tokyo drinkers a chance to encounter that broader world of beer, spirits, and food in a different setting.
