Otama Brewing, a microbrewery based in Sanwa Ward, Joetsu City, has announced a packed schedule for June. The brewery’s appearances are centered on Joetsu, but they also extend to Niigata City and Myoko, showing a clear regional focus.

- June 5-6: "Mafefes YOICHI," a food, drinks, and aquarium-night event held in the parking lot of the Umitarari aquarium in Joetsu. The post highlights beer enjoyed alongside the sunset over the Sea of Japan.
- June 12-13: "Bandai Terrace Hajimari Hiroba Beer Festa" in Niigata City.
- June 12: "Takada Honmachi Yorumarche" in the Takada Honmachi shopping street area of Joetsu.
- June 13: "Switchback Beer Garden" at the plaza in front of Niyunogi Station.
- June 19-20: A special pop-up for the 10th anniversary of the Niigata Oktoberfest, held at the Aeon Niigata Nishi parking lot.
- June 20-22: "Ohinage Shoko Matsuri" near Kakizaki Station in Joetsu.

The Naoetsu taproom also has events lined up. A pop-up by Ricca Myoko-cafe- is scheduled for June 20-21, followed by a pop-up from CHŌCHIN-ZA on June 28.

Otama Brewing positions itself as a microbrewery rooted in Joetsu, Niigata, with a style centered on approachable beers, especially American ale styles. June looks set to be a month in which the brewery brings that identity directly to local events and community gatherings.
