Nori's Beer, based in Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi, has announced the release schedule for Hoji CHA Ale, a new beer brewed to mark its third anniversary. According to the brewery's Instagram post, the beer will be previewed at Beer Fest Tokyo on June 6-7, go on sale at the brewery and online on June 9, and arrive at the TapRoom on June 12.

The release fits the brewery's approach so far. Nori's Beer presents itself as a microbrewery rooted in Yamanashi's ingredients and local culture, and its official site highlights a lineup that uses regional produce and aims to reflect the character of the area. With its brewery in Ichikawamisato, the company has steadily built a portfolio that leans into local identity.

The post describes Hoji CHA Ale as a beer with an ABV of 5.0% and an IBU of 21. The recipe is centered on the aroma of roasted tea leaves, aiming for a refreshing finish and gentle bitterness. The brewery says the beer went through repeated trial and error before reaching its final form. It also notes that the beer may become a regular item if it is well received, but could remain a one-off if feedback is not strong.

Nori's Beer will reach its third anniversary on July 3, 2026. As a commemorative release, Hoji CHA Ale shows both the brewery's regional focus and its willingness to experiment with flavor. Whether the tea-forward beer earns a permanent place in the lineup will depend on how drinkers respond over the coming weeks.
