KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer announced its tap list for Monday, April 27. In keeping with the feel of a standing bar inside Kawasaki Azalea 1046, the lineup is designed for dropping in while shopping or after work, and bringing food in is allowed. Takeout-only orders are also accepted, making the shop especially convenient.

The recommendation for the day is number 6, "Tama Kujaku," made by Tokaido BEER. It is a Pale Ale with 6% alcohol by volume. Brewed with leaves from the sacred ginkgo tree, "Oicho," at Inage Shrine, the shop describes it as an easy-to-drink beer without any rough edges. It is the kind of beer that is easy to choose as a first pint, a classic-style option.

As of 6:30 p.m., the lineup was dominated by Tokaido BEER's own house brews. From IPA "1623," Porter "Kuroi Shikan," Amber Ale "Usubeni no Kuchi-jitsu," Belgian Wheat "Mugi no Deai," Fruit Hazy IPA "Guava," Coffee Stout "Kuro ni Ukabu," and MILK SHAKE IPA "UTAMARO ALE," the selection covered a wide range of aromas, bitterness, and roasted character.

The guest beers are also strong. The lineup included North Alps Brewery's "Hazy IPA," Kyoto Brewing Company's "Ichigo Ichi-e," TKBREWING's "#442 Hop Randezvous," REPUBREW's "Sake no Itteki Chi no Itteki," Yellow Monkey Brewing's "KAIZOKU," "BarrelAgedCranberey," and "UTUROI," Nori's Beer's "Fruity and Easy to Drink," and Yokohama Beer's "SuperSonicSpeedSour," offering a broad range from light pale ales to sours and stouts.

Built around Tokaido BEER's core lineup and blended with the character of other breweries, the day's selection is easy to enjoy either as a single pint or as a tasting session. At a stand directly connected to Kawasaki Station, it is the perfect tap lineup for a day when you want to choose a glass that fits your mood.
