Setouchi Brewery has launched a gift proposal centered on NZ PALE ALE and SETOUCHI SHIRONEKO WEIZEN. In an Instagram post, the brewery introduced a set that includes an original glass, along with a striking visual featuring sheep and cat labels side by side. It also announced a 6-bottle set that adds the standard SETOUCHI IPA and SETOUCHI LAGER to NZ PALE ALE and SHIRONEKO WEIZEN. A sheep sticker will be given to buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.

SETOUCHI SHIRONEKO WEIZEN is characterized by a fruity flavor with pronounced banana notes derived from Weizen yeast, and a smooth, soft mouthfeel. Its gentle texture from wheat malt is accented by a subtle acidity, and the finish is clean as well. It has an alcohol content of 5.5%, and part of the sales will be donated to Catloaf, a cat rescue cafe in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture.

Meanwhile, NZ PALE ALE is described in the post as having tropical aromas and soft fruitiness, and it is presented in a way that invites drinkers to compare it with SHIRONEKO WEIZEN. Based in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Setouchi Brewery has continued making beers that reflect the Seto Inland Sea's climate and seasonal feel, and since starting brewing in 2021, it has released a wide range of products from regular offerings to limited editions. This set is interesting not only for its flavors, but also for its emphasis on label design and the enjoyment of giving it as a gift.
