Minoh Beer launches seasonal PLUM GOSE brewed with ripe Nanko plums and plum vinegar
Minoh Beer, based in Minoh, Osaka, is starting sales of PLUM GOSE, a seasonal gose brewed with ripe Nanko plums and plum vinegar from Minabe, Wakayama. Online sales begin on July 18 at 5 p.m., followed by sales at WAREHOUSE on July 22.
Minoh Beer has brewed a seasonal release called PLUM GOSE using Nanko plums from Minabe, Wakayama. The brewery notes that plum-based beers are already familiar territory for the company, but this time it combines ripe plums and plum vinegar to bring together fruit character and the style's signature profile.
The beer is built around the soft fruitiness of ripe plums, along with the gentle acidity and umami of plum vinegar. Those elements are meant to work with the gose style's light salinity, creating a beer that stays bright and refreshing on the finish. It is positioned as a summer beer with an easy, crisp drinkability.
Sales will begin in stages:
- Online shop: July 18, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
- WAREHOUSE: from July 22, 2026
Minoh Beer also says the beer will be available on tap and for sale at selected bars and liquor shops it works with. Based in Minoh City, Osaka, the brewery has long combined classic beer styles with seasonal brewing, guided by its motto, "Brew beer, and brew people." PLUM GOSE fits that approach well as a seasonal beer grounded in local relationships and clear flavor design.
