KAKUIDA Brewery to Exhibit at Keio Department Store Shinjuku's "Dai Kyushu Exhibition" and Serve Draft Beer
KAKUIDA BREWERY, based in Kagoshima, will exhibit at the "Dai Kyushu Exhibition" held at Keio Department Store Shinjuku. Draft beer will be served at the venue from Friday, March 6 to Thursday, March 12, 2026. Plans for limited-edition labels and a tasting set are also being announced.
KAKUIDA BREWERY announced its participation in Keio Department Store Shinjuku 7th Floor Event Hall "Dai Kyushu Exhibition" in an Instagram post titled "\uFF3CLet's toast in Shinjuku\uFF5C🍻" (March 4, 2026, 16:26). The event runs from Friday, March 6 to Thursday, March 12, 2026, and the final day closes at 5:00 p.m.
According to the post, the following beers will be served on draft at the venue.
- Belgian White
- American Red
- Aged Stout
- Lactic-Fermented Yuzu Sour
In addition, White Koji Sour and SMash are also planned for limited sales, though the timing of their appearance has not been decided. For visitors unsure which label to choose, a four-beer tasting set will also be available.
Official information from KAKUIDA BREWERY says the brewery is a small brewery located in Kagoshima's "Kurozu no Sato," and its signature is handmade brewing that makes use of black-vinegar fermentation techniques. Another unique feature is that the brewery is housed inside the black-vinegar restaurant "Kurozu no Sato Kakuida."
The official site section "About Kakuida Beer" also lists award histories from the Japan Great Beer Awards and the International Beer Cup, and this Shinjuku appearance looks like a chance to experience Kagoshima-born fermentation techniques and proven labels in the city center. If you plan to visit during the event, it would be worth checking the availability of the four regular beers as well as the limited-edition labels.
