Nutori Brewing, based in Kawaguchi, Saitama, has announced a collaboration with storyteller Kanda Hinomaru. Kanda is also connected to Nutori as the owner of its bookshelf space, and the two have been working together on a radio program. This release celebrates the show reaching its second anniversary.

Anniversary Beer `Hyakki no Kuro`


At the center of the project is the original beer `Hyakki no Kuro`. In the post, it is described as a beer with a coffee aroma, designed to pair with the lingering mood of summer ghost stories. Rather than being just a one-off release, the beer is being used as a bridge to a live storytelling tour.

Storytelling Tour Across Tokyo and Saitama


Kanda will take the beer on a tour of eight venues in Tokyo and Saitama. The featured performance is `Yotsuya Kaidan`, a classic ghost story that fits the season. The final stop will be Nutori in Kawaguchi on August 26 (Wednesday).
