What’s inside Heliconia
Heliconia is a Hazy IPA with 7.0% ABV and 15 IBU. In the caption, the brewery explains that it is built around a sweet tropical fruit character reminiscent of mango and pineapple, layered with multiple forms of hop products such as concentrated pellets and oils. It also features a soft mouthfeel and silky texture from oats and wheat, and is presented as a beer that stays rich while remaining smooth and easy to drink.
A comparison set that fits a brewery in Okutama
Beer Cafe Vertere is a brewery based in Okutama that produces craft beer. This pack pairs the Hazy IPA Passiflora and the NEIPA Casimiroa, making it easy to enjoy the differences in hop layering and body. Passiflora offers tropical fruit aromas and a silky drinking feel, while Casimiroa is a juicy design with layers of peach, grape, pineapple, and citrus, making it especially interesting to compare with Heliconia.
VERTERE is known for IPAs and hazy styles that emphasize fruitiness, so this pack clearly reflects that direction. Starting with Heliconia and then tasting the three beers in sequence should make it easy to get a sense of where Vertere stands right now.
