Two Rabbits Brewing Company, based in Omihachiman, Shiga, is offering HOP BIDDY BYE BYE, a California IPA sold through its online shop. Pricing is set at ¥770 for a 360ml can and ¥4,620 for a six-pack. As a brewery rooted in Shiga’s craft beer scene, Two Rabbits continues to put hop character at the center of its releases with this beer.

The hop bill is the key point of the release. Columbus and Strata form the base, while Eggers Riwaka Special and Riwaka Diesel are used as dry hops. The brewery describes the aroma as opening with strong dank notes and moving into bright citrus and tropical fruit.

On the palate, the beer is said to be very clean and dry, which helps it stay drinkable despite its intense aroma. That balance of a bold hop nose and a smooth finish should appeal not only to IPA fans, but also to drinkers who want a more approachable hop-forward beer. It is a straightforward example of Two Rabbits’ focus on expressive, well-structured brewing.
