Beer Cafe Vertere to Hold 10th Anniversary Festival in Okutama on April 18 and 19
Beer Cafe Vertere (VERTERE), based in Okutama, Tokyo, announced that it will hold "VERTERE Anniversary Festival -10th Anniversary-" to commemorate 10 years since brewing began. The venue will be on the company’s brewery grounds, with 20 taps, limited-edition beers, and local food and market stalls over two days.

The festival will take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 11:00 to 17:00 at VERTERE brewery grounds (1099-6 Hikawa, Okutama-machi, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo). It will be held rain or shine, though it may be canceled in severe weather.
The main attraction will be 20 taps featuring everything from signature beers to new releases, along with the debut of Anniversary Fest Beer, a cask-draft beer brewed exclusively for the venue. In addition, the ethical distilled spirits series ENIGMA -Gin- "REVIVE from VERTERE prototype" is also scheduled to be served.
Food vendors will include Gyoen, Barchie's Spareribs Factory, MOONRISE KINGDOM, STAND by MECONG, and SUNNY HOP. The market area will feature Gotta Coffee, Ome Farm, and the Okutama Town Tourism Association, creating a lineup that lets visitors enjoy not only beer but also local food and regional products.
Tickets include an advance ticket package (four 300 ml beer exchange vouchers plus an original keychain, 3,000 yen including tax) and same-day tickets. Advance reservations open at 19:00 on Wednesday, March 11 through the online shop. Access is a 20-minute walk from JR Ome Line's "Okutama" Station, a 3-minute walk from the Nishi Tokyo Bus stop "Byoin-mae," and a shuttle bus will run between Okutama Station and the venue. There is no parking at the venue, so use of public transportation is recommended.
As a brewery born in Okutama, Tokyo, Vertere has operated a taproom there while also expanding to locations throughout Tokyo. Marking its 10th brewing anniversary, this two-day festival, held together with local businesses as a place to toast in Okutama, looks set to let visitors experience both the brewery's history and its relationship with the community.
